    Paul is known as the father of the Cloud Native computing concept and has a long history of working in open source and middleware, including work on Apache Axis2, Synapse and WSO2 Carbon. Most recently, Paul completed a PhD looking at how personal middleware can improve IoT security and privacy from the University of Portsmouth. He is a visiting lecturer at the University of Oxford, has published a number of peer reviewed articles and has two patents. Paul previously worked at IBM where he was an STSM.

He started his career in a technical role as a trainee software developer, and spent around 8 years in various technical roles working on a wide variety of business projects in various teams and business areas, learning a variety of technologies.     Igor joined Suva as Senior Software Architect in 2001. He was first responsible to build up an integration framework based on JEE for integration of the mayor Suva platforms.     Jack is both a Spanish and US citizen, but he spends most of his time in the UK and Europe these days. After completing his degree in computer tech in Pittsburgh, Jack began his career in the hospitality industry technology before moving to ERP, becoming an SAP consultant and then discovering the open source arena around 21 years ago.

    He has always been a firm believer in open source technology as a principle which led him, almost inevitably, to WSO2 and Chakray Consulting, where he is the CTO. Jack has a keen interest in physics, particularly in quantum theory. He was also the vice chair of the Spanish Astronomy Association, which is congruous with his philosophy that sleep is overrated.

He is a senior technology executive with extensive global experience in delivering programs within the IT and telecommunications sectors. Prior to joining WSO2, he worked for Deutsche Telekom UK where he led delivery and deployment of digital products across the T-mobile footprint in Europe. Prior to that, he worked for Virtusa Corporation, where he rose through various technical and management positions and spent several years leading large technology programs for global clients with responsibility for revenue, growth, and delivery.

    With nearly two decades of experience working for systems integrators and software vendors with global exposure, Samisa leads the delivery of post sales customer satisfaction at WSO2. His current role includes looking after WSO2’s technical support and executing development services to help customers implement solutions. Prior to his current role, Samisa played the role of VP of engineering at WSO2 where he was looking after the engineering team building the WSO2 product platform. He has been a committer in the Apache Web services project since May 2004, and initiated the Apache Axis2/C project. He has also published two books: ‘RESTFul PHP Web Services’ and ‘PHP Team Development.’

    Shafreen is a part of WSO2’s ESB and integration teams where he contributes to ongoing development efforts of those products.     Senaka has provided technology consulting on customer engagements, helping to successfully implement governance, enterprise application integration, SAP integration, and on-premises portal solutions.
